Terms of service

The short version

• — The tools are free, provided as-is, and may change or go away.
• — You own what you put in. You own what comes out. We claim no rights over either.
• — Generated code and review findings are a starting point, not a guarantee. Review them before you deploy anything.
• — Don't abuse the service — it is rate limited, and the limits are there because every run costs us money.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and Nuvez, LLC (Minneapolis, MN). They cover this website and the tools on it — the App Generator, the IaC Generator, IaC Review, Code Review, Resource Optimization and the review dashboard. By using any of them you accept these terms. If you are using them for an employer, you are confirming you may accept on their behalf.

Paid consulting work is not covered here. That runs under a separate written agreement, and where the two disagree, that agreement wins.

2. Your content, and what comes out

You keep ownership of everything you submit. You give us permission to process it only so far as we need to in order to run the tool you asked for and show you the result — described in detail in our privacy policy. We do not use it to train models and we do not share it beyond the processors listed there.

You own the output too. We assert no copyright or other rights over the code, templates or findings the tools produce for you. Use them commercially, modify them, relicense them — they are yours.

Two honest caveats. Generated output is produced by a language model, so similar prompts can produce similar output for other people, and we cannot promise what you receive is unique to you. And generated projects may pull in third-party dependencies under their own licences, which are yours to review and comply with.

3. What you agree not to do

• — Submit anything you do not have the right to submit.
• — Submit live credentials, private keys or secrets. If you do it by accident, tell us and we will delete the record.
• — Use the tools to build anything unlawful, or to attack anyone's systems.
• — Work around the rate limits, script the endpoints, or resell access. The tools are free because they are used by people; automated bulk use costs us real money per request and we will block it.
• — Attempt to disrupt the service or reach parts of it you have not been given access to.

4. Availability and rate limits

The tools are free and provided without any uptime commitment. We may rate limit, change, suspend or withdraw them at any time, and we may do it without notice if something is being abused. There is no service level agreement attached to free use. If you need one, that is a conversation worth having — get in touch.

5. No warranty — and what that actually means here

The service and everything it produces are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement.

Concretely, and because this matters more than the boilerplate: a language model produces these results. A review can miss a real security problem, and it can report one that is not there. Generated infrastructure code can create billable cloud resources, can be misconfigured, and can be wrong in ways that are expensive.

Read, test and review anything from these tools before you run it against real infrastructure. A passing CI build means the project compiled and its checks ran — it is a real signal, and it is not a substitute for your own review. None of this is legal, financial or professional compliance advice; a finding that cites a regulation is a prompt to check it, not a determination that you comply.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or cloud costs you incur, arising out of your use of the free tools. Our total liability for any claim relating to them is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us to use them — which is nothing — or USD 100.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and depending on where you live you may have consumer rights this clause does not affect.

7. Accounts

Most of the site needs no account. The dashboard and admin areas require you to sign in and to be approved by us, and we may decline or withdraw that access at our discretion. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under it.

8. Our own material

The site itself — its design, copy, branding and the software behind the tools — belongs to us. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to copy it.

Company names appearing on this site identify organisations where work has been delivered. They are the trade marks of their respective owners and their appearance does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship or ongoing relationship.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will make that clear rather than sliding it in.
